Shure Beta98HC er en liten kondensatormikrofon for instrumenter og er beregnet til bruk i PA. Beta98 leveres i flere utgaver. Denne modellen har fastmontert klype / kort svanehals. Mikrofonen har en svært jevn kardioidekarakteristikk, meget bredt frekvensområde og tåler lydtrykk opptil 144 dB. Strømforsynes fra phantommating. Frekvensrespons: 20-20 000 Hz. Beta98HC har solid klype som sitter godt. Beta98HC tåler svært høye lydtrykk og den er enkel å plassere på instrumentet.
